I you have physical proof of this slander and slurs against your character, I'd be taking it to his superior and or a lawyer to help you solve this problem and let him know that bad behavior won't be tolerated and a language barrier is no excuse. Just MHO. Good luck and let us know how things progress.

Background is that he was a new hire & sent us his contact info in the body of an unrelated email in early spring. Both my coworker and I missed the update. When we sent some info to their org, we were sending it to the former contact (who still worked there but in a different department) starting in March. The former contact never returned the emails, never told me there was a new contact, nor did she forward the emails to the new contact. By the time my side figured out what had happened, a major deadline has passed and he had to get something done in about 6 weeks and I was on vacation. It was a mess. More back story is that I apologized profusely in about 3 different emails, sent gifts, and sent a hand-written note saying how sorry I was about the mistake. He has never let up and about 6 weeks ago I told him that the matter was closed.

He stinks worse than a wet hen house.​

This is why I love being self employed. Except the paid holidays and vacation...that stinks!! I remember having this principal I worked for that was a real @@@@@! Power hungry. She got fired right after I decided to open a daycare.
