Looking for a person, in Gainesville, willing to let one chick live in their brooder with their own baby chicks from this Monday-Thursday.... I am starting a small flock and can only have a few. One breed that I want is at the feed store now and one breed doesn't come until this Thursday (28th). I don't want to have one lonely chick for this week. Is anyone able to do this and not fall in love (with the chic) ;-)

ooooohh, I would love to but truth be told I would fall in love w/ the chick and also I would have 2 movie to Florida!!!
Im so sorry and hope you find somebody soon!!!!

Chihuahua... Thanks, I had considered that since my mom just sent me an Easter care package. It had some hand therapy lotion AND a little fuzzy wind up chicken toy. I joked about using it as a temporary companion earlier today... but now that you mention it worked for you I might try it.
