Ice was alone. She wanted to tell Phoenix that she wanted to have his foal but she felt like it was presumptuous and too dumb of her to tell him now.She layed down and started to cry.

Phoenix trotted smartly out of the cave. On his way to round up the herd, he heard his beloved Ice sobbing. After a minute of searching, he lay next to the beautiful mare and nickered, using his forelock to wipe away her tears. "What is it?" He asked, blue eyes flashing and cremello coat shining in the darkening sky.

Lulu rushed over to Ice with Lola at her heels and said, "What's wrong, Ice??"

Comanche stood on top of the hill, on alert. He had smelled his foe's scent in the wind earlier and had his mind set on making sure he didn't come into the territory again, or, Comanche decided, Murder's body would go crashing into the prairie ground and he would never wake up. The thought made Comanche smile.
