Comanche stood on top of the hill, on alert. He had smelled his foe's scent in the wind earlier and had his mind set on making sure he didn't come into the territory again, or, Comanche decided, Murder's body would go crashing into the prairie ground and he would never wake up. The thought made Comanche smile.

Murder smelled comanche.He was close. "Someone's after us! Let's go!"

Comanche's lips curled up into a menacing smile. He set after the scent of his foe like a bloodhound.

Phoenix trotted smartly out of the cave. On his way to round up the herd, he heard his beloved Ice sobbing. After a minute of searching, he lay next to the beautiful mare and nickered, using his forelock to wipe away her tears. "What is it?" He asked, blue eyes flashing and cremello coat shining in the darkening sky.

The sound of Murder's hooves running off into the distance instead of ramming into Comanche's throat was to much to bear. Comanche broke down laughing until his eyes stung with tears.
