Dusky had wandered far out of Titan's home range, not because she wanted to leave, but because she hadn't been paying attention. She had her head down and was mowing through intoxicating lush grass.

Blck Ice and the other mares, having been chased from said same grass were grazing within the boundaries.

Sugar trotted over to Black Ice.
 
Over the months, both Theodora's stomach and Isabel grew. The latter was practically a mare by then, and had just left the herd in search of a new one. Having remembered the grullo stud who had caught her mother's eye, and how he was more rebellious, Isabel decided that was just where she was headed. She wanted to stir up some trouble.

If Titan had not woken from his sleep and swiveled around for a quick head count, he would of not noticed Isabel's absence. With a start, he hobbled up. "Theodora! Isabel's missing!"
