Dour pricked his ears forward, searching for the invisible foe that Annalise could obviously see. "What is it?"

Dusky, meanwhile, had found a secluded spot and had bedded down with her newborn.
"That blue roan... If or get her name... Her scent is in the air." Turning back to her triplets, she sighed. "Dour... This is amazing. Triplets. I have triplets."

Zephyra grinned and started making her way through the trees so she would stay hidden in case Dour looked for her
Cinders followed Zephyra. "Do you even know where we are going? Won't your dam just hunt you down, since you're only a yearling?"

The grullo filly snorted; Ash hadn't hunted Cinders down when she'd left Titan's herd.

"That was Dusky. You remember her, my biggest traitor ever." Dour looked at his mate then at her triplets. "It is amazing!" He was proud of himself, too. He'd fathered them.

The stud glanced around, noticing two fillies were missing. He closed his eyes, thinking. One had been Cinders, his own filly, but that other one...Zephyra...

"Will you be alright, Annalise?" Dour looked at the mare. "I need to check on something."

"Aurora will be too tired and too busy with her twins, and yes I've been all through these woods for almost all my life, my scent and footprints are all over these woods." Zephyra said calmly "It's what is beyond them that I don't know"

Annalise sighed. "I want to come with you."

Annalise sighed. "I want to come with you."
Dour looked at Annalise; he didn't know if she should be traveling just yet. "Alright, if you want." He set off, following Cinders and Zephyra's scents, mostly Cinders'. "Where did you go, filly?"

Cinders stopped and glanced back, suddenly unnerved. "I think we're going to have company."

Zephyra looked back, though all she could see were trees. Snorting quietly she continued walking through the trees.

Dour moved through the forest, steadfast in his pursuit of the wandering Zephyra.

Cinders remained quiet and followed her friend.
Zephyra heard Dour moving through the forest and suddenly changed direction, as she would do had they been playing. She hoped Cinders would catch on so they could try to leave later, if they were caught now.

Dour, older than Zephyra and more familiar with the territory, soon had the two fillies blocked. He glowered down at them, focusing on Zephyra. The grullo stud snorted and narrowed his eyes. "Leaving? I don't think so." He gestured toward her rear-end. "We can do this now, or we can wait 'til later."

Cinders felt herself melting under her sire's angry gaze. The filly's legs were wobbling like Jello.
