"That's all of your yearlings," Dusky said. She felt Indigo suckling hungrily at a teat. Nickering, she reached over to nibble at Titan's withers.

Titan nodded, his head drooping down. Just then, his ears perked forward and his head yanked up. "The same mare I smelled earlier," he murmured.

Dour shook his head. Like Cinders' bite, Cochise's kick was more irritating than anything. Turning, Dour kicked out with a hind leg, not bothering to put power behind it. It smacked against Cochise's flank.
