I bought x4 goose eggs for not a lot of money £25. I had researched hard and found a seller who was selling eggs and goslings from a large flock of fully curly white Sebastopol geese.

I got one successful hatch, easily identifiable as a female from her gosling colouring.

She has the striking blue eyes and is fully white.

She is fully grown and about 4 months old now I think, but no sign of curls at all. She's also quite aggressive.

Have I been given an Embden instead?

I dont understand why though, this person didnt make any money out of it and seemed very genuine!

Tried to contact on ebay but cant get hold of her. Had good feedback.

She's yet to moult but she should have curls by now shouldnt she?

She's probably only got one of the genes, and not two. It doesn't mean she's not a Sebastopol, just not a curly one. She would have needed to have inherited one gene from each parent to make the curly feathers.

Grrr, is it a recessive gene then? I was assured both parents were white fully curly

Why though? If I'd paid so lot of money maybe but it was peanuts really
There is a type of Sestabapol called smooth-breasted. I don't think this necessarily means you were scammed. Someone who raises them would know. @oldhenlikesdogs I think has some.

But if they were assured both parents were curly feathered and there was no mention that a non curly gosling could hatch it sounds very misleading to me.

I don't have this breed because they are very expensive. I have read there are smooth versions, but don't know the genetics unfortunately. I personally wouldn't trust anyone on eBay. My embden are very meek.

Ahh, okay. Sorry for my mistake.

The OP stated they got a very good deal on those eggs, so that may explain this whole thing.
