Cinders, awake and grazing, had noticed the arrival of Dour. The stud didn't quite seem to be 'all there', but still, Cinders wasn't taking any chances. She moved to stand behind Aurora, out of Dour's range of view.

Aurora looked at Dour then to Cinders and shook her head, turning back to the horizon

Dour, seeing movement out of the corner of his eye, looked over at Aurora. He turned and neared her. "Do you know who that mare is?"

Dour meant Chestnut. He needed to know if she was part of his herd. If not, he would work on making her part of his herd.

Cinders, hidden on Aurora's other side, flicked her tail anxiously.

(I made mare for Sage already lol So I see like Titan and some other stallions whose names I can't remember are very popular)

(Clucks will have to answer, but I think Titan's herd has enough mares for now. I can't even remember Dour's mares...again, so he has enough, too. Maybe Feliz or Cemal's herd need mares)

"It appears I have a stranger in my herd," Dour said. He caught a glimpse of grullo coat. Peering around Aurora, his gaze fell on Cinders. "What have we here?" He looked at Aurora, quite sure she hadn't borne his foal yet. "I have another stranger in my herd."

Cinders had her head lowered, not looking at Dour. The filly appeared rooted to the spot.
