She began to walk toward DesertHerd. Growing excited, she let her feet pick up into a lighthearted trot that soon grew into a canter. "Hello?" she called out, slowing as she reached the mass.

"Hello?" she asked again, lowering her voice and cocking her head to the side. What was up with this?

Mahogany lifted her head. "Yes?" she asked.

"Oh!" Mycenae blurted out with pleasant surprise. "Sorry, I, er… Can I, um, stay with you, I guess? I just need a herd, and you all - I love the desert!" An awkward string of words came flying from Mycenae's velvet mouth.

Mycenae cautiously stuck out her curved neck and took in the scent of the other horses. She certainly wasn't getting a playful aura from them, and that's the mood she was in. With a defiant snort and a backward shy, she was trotting away. She planned to come back, of course, but she was not one to patiently rest. She needed to explore.
