Lilac watched the foals. Lance, Kaliska, and Rebel. But she noticed Kaliska missing, and she wasn't the only one.

April grazed beside Lilac. Not paying much attention.

Rebel looked around. "Kaliska?" He said. Smelling her scent, he followed it.

Lance watched Rebel galloped away and was quick to follow.

She flattened her ears when she heard another horse galloping towards her. She scuttled to a bush, and ducked behind it. She waited for the horse to pass by.
