Gypsy nickered encouragement, and swam towards her.  "Come with me," She said to Speckles.  Gypsy pulled herself out of the river, and waited for Speckles. 

Speckles swam to shore and stood beside Gypsy.

"Follow me." Gypsy trotted next to Speckles, to make sure she didn't get away.

Kaliska loped after her, staying behind so the mare couldn't see her, but close enough so that Kaliska could watch the mares every move.
