Onyx screamed in pain and twisted away, spraying blood on his back. He kicked out with his back legs at Sundance's upper chest. "Give it up Sundance!" Onyx bellowed. "She'll never go with you!"

Onyx scrabbled out of the way of Sundance's deadly bite. "Then you can go on being a bachelor!" Onyx screamed. "You'll never take her!" He reared on his backlegs, and crashed down, hoping to hit Sundance.

Onyx whinnied in pain, and stumbled. Sundance was bigger and stronger than Onyx, but Onyx was slim, and quick. He quickly regained his footing, and lunged at Sundace's chest again.
