Anything else I can be doing to help shrink the tissue? I also didn’t get the calcium into her this morning, will try again later. It’s a little easier to get a pill into a sick chicken than a feisty one!

A little better, the honey is shrinking the tissue but I can’t get the prolapse to stay in. She hates the baths and just wants to be out chickening, at least the others are leaving her alone. She also laid an egg yesterday, so maybe that will help.

Thanks! I’m not known for patienceIt may take time for the swelling to go down. It might take some more patience. I’m sure it is frustrating. Some vets can place a purse string stitch to hold a prolapse in. A few vets might give a hormone implant that can stop laying for up to 4-6 months. Some people say that it is hard to get those. That might be something you could do if available since she is on her second prolapse.
