Snowflake grazed as she smelt something. By the time she figured out what it was, it was to late. A cougar attacked her. It pounced on her and bits her, as she reared and kicks it. It bit her again and she feel over. The cougar ran away. Snowflake landed on a rock, quickly turning her beautiful white coat yucky red. She took small shallow breaths and closed her eyes.
Feliz galloped to her aid. "Are you alright?"

Snowflake eyes opened wide. She tried to get up, but she couldn't. A small puddle of blood lied underneath her. She finally got up, and you could easily see a small open wound on her side.
Feliz nickered and started to lick her wounds. "What's your name? He asked through the metalic taste of blood.

"I'm Feliz. And my mare,Ava,is behind me." He stopped licking. "I think the bleeding has stopped."
