What I had to do to get mine to eat was put papertowels down then grind the food down to almost powder with a coffee grinder. Then spread it out all over the papertowels. They should start to peck at the food.

I'm willing to try anything at this point. I keep trying to get them to eat every hr and if they don't i've mixed up a yolk water feed solution that i feed them through a dropper just so they get something, no matter how tiny, in their little bellies. But i don't want them to have to rely on me to feed them all the time. Personally I just don't have the time to do that every day (8 yr old son) not to mention they have to learn at some point. Thanks I'll give it a try and see what happens I'll try to post updates if they do start eying the food like........ food lol.

Just make sure the waters available. No need to dip beaks and such.... They'll find the water just fine. The food is the hard part but sounds like you have that part worked out.. Bill

I always make sure all of our animals have fresh food and water at the beginning and end of day. I know how important water is to poultry of any kind as well. But Thank you everyone you've all been so helpful and i'm worry free (for the most part lol). Now i am even more grateful for this forum and all it's very helpful members. THANK YOU ALL!!!!!
I am kina a geek I stand there and peck my finger in the food until the little guys start eating the water I dip their beaks in gently with a few and then the rest normally imitate them
Yea We have to do the same with the water. Since there calling for 110 high and 85 low next couple of days my birds are gonna hate it.. As well as me. Glade your chicks are eatting. Let me know if you need anything am just over the hump from you.
I've been doing the same thing with my finger and water. I guess we're all geeks lol. And it's defiantly good to know someone is so close that way i know we're on the same time schedule. I'll keep everyone posted on their little antics lol and what's going on with the unhatched eggs.
I just watched my oldest chick take a drink of water YAY
