game bird feed for chickens

Went to get all flock feed but got game bird feed instead by mistake. Will it be OK for my chickens? They eat everything under the sun including the dogs food so I would think its alright but wanted to check. Thanks

Yes it's okay. I feed gamebird grains as an alternative to traditional scratch. However, if you are feeding a variety of ages, you'll probably want to be sure you get the all flock or flockraiser feed next time.
