Yes he is a old english bantam. He is not crele. He is a 1st gen project cockerel for a rare color that I am making. Once I breed him to the hens, their off spring will be 100% pure of the color I am making. He is a very pretty bird. I prefer the single combs of all my chickens. The only rosecomb I have are my Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. The bantam old english are suppose to have the single combs. Are you sure it is a pea comb and hasnt been cut? Alot of people cut the oegb's combs for various reasons including making them look like standard size fighting birds and showing them. Some people cut them due to them turning black in the winter from frostbite. I simply rub all my chickens combs in vaseline one day a week and they never turn black.
