this guy got a lot of our chickens until we wised up and built huge kennels.

OMG wow!! The chickens look a bit creeped out! With good reason of course!

We had a LOT of canine visitors this morning: (I think there was a smudge on my camera lens, all photos came out with a fuzzy place that looks like fog)

I like setting my cam to see who comes up the drive, as we have 2-legged predators as well. However, I want to get a second cam to point TOWARDS the coop to see exactly what the dogs are up to (testing the fences? etc)

See Mr Red my roo on the truck bed trailer is smart enough not to come down for a while after the dogs visit:

Never seen these white dogs before today either

Mr Red still has not come down from his roost even though it's past 7am. Smart boy!

And this is the pit bull that lives down the road. Second time I've caught him on cam. I've complained to animal control about him being at large, but he still roams. Stupid owners. Though at least, he doesn't seem to be causing trouble. Mr Red is standing in the background, but the dog didn't go after him.

I think that is the one we have.

One thing that is very handy, at least for us, since we have a two mile hike to get to it, is to have two cards. That way you can just swap them out when its time to view pics.
We also made sure our cards also fit our digital camera as well.

So far it has been a great camera. I also have two cards and do the swap thing.

Every time I insert a card into my regular digital camera (a Sanyo), re-inserting it into another camera makes the second cam stop working. I have decided to keep all of my other SD cards OUT of my Sanyo camera from now on!!! Must be a formatting thing.
My new Bushnell game cam CAN format it's own cards, but I'm still not gonna risk trying it with a Sanyo-cam's card.

I'm going to get a multi-format card reader so that I can do the card swap thing too. Right now I have to use the game cam to upload the pix on my computer and then take it back out there again. At least it's not a far drive for me.

Yes. Night time pictures are either taken with an infrared flash (way better IMO) or a white flash like any other camera. Day time pictures are taken without the flash. The game camera has a light sensor that tells it if a flash is needed or not.

This is a recent daytime picture (cloudy day) from my Bushnell
