We rarely actually see them.
Big huh? compare mamma with the 50 gallon drum!

Yeah we black bears all the time--actually a large number of them are the "cinnamon" colored ones....and there are Grizzlies around but not quite THAT close...we do have wolves now and we've heard them twice....

LOL! This is actual 1 1/2 miles from our house. Its quite a hike

But we do know they do come much closer!

We have a WildGame camera. It does really good. You can do flash or infared at night... here are a couple pics.

This is the raccoon batch that got all my young guineas that went in the trees in one night.. all 20 babies. I was SOO mad. THat's when we got the camera. Needless to say the raccoons are history now.

It was a Cuddeback Capture 3.0. They are less than $150. I'm not very impressed with how many batteries it goes through, but I have nothing to compare it to. We have 3 of these cameras and no other brands.

Yeah, the Bushnell I have eats batteries so fast I gave up using it. I'd go out and check it every few days and discover the batteries died before I got any decent shots. So frustrating.

I have the Bushnell scout cam. The battery's on this cam will last for around 1 year. I use the lithium AA. The cam takes great pics day and night and will take thousands of picture before a battery change is needed. My old Bushnell took D cells and I would have to change them on a weekly basis. Way too expensive.

Not my pic, but have you seen this from Lousiana? They even made it on the news. Creepy picture, but just a hoax. I hope.
