These guys are SOO enjoying the dirt and space. My friend was pretty tight for space so they were in a small cage on paper. DH thinks I was nuts to take them. They do lay a few eggs now and then right?

No, at a young age pullets are just as rough as the stags. From what I see in your pic, looks like a pullet and a stag(size of the comb). Just an observation..........Pop​
 
I will add this......game hens with spurs are more common than your layer breeds. All my game hens have spurs. I was told that it's a sign of purity.
 
These were given to me Saturday and i was told they were about 4 wks old. So no, I don't know what they looked like earlier. The one with the larger comb also has 2 big black spots coming in on it's breast. Also "his" saddle area is getting fuzzy, like the feathers will turn black but the under fluff is whitening.
