Game rooster breed?

We got this rooster a couple of years ago, and we were told what sort of mix he was. But at the time we were just starting out and barely knew what a Rhode Island Red was. So, any idea what this guy is made of?

Ps. The guy we got him from raised game roosters, and he was too small to use. He's an exceptional roo.

So they told you he was a mix? If so, I'm not very good at sorting out the different breeds in a mixed bird. That is sure a strange comb....

The guy we got him from raised crazy-breed game roosters- and he gave us a mouthful of what type/line he was. We just can't remember any of it.

Not a Rode Island Red definitely game cock. The comb looks like my Old English Game.Bantum hen.

My uncle use to own gamefowl back when I was a kid and if I dare to guess I would say maybe a cross between Thai/Cubalaya (due to the comb)and American/Old English (due to the color and body) Gamefowl and judging by the size batam at that but that is just a guess

There are tons of varieties and lines of Gamefowl and if he's a mix it would be really difficult to tell. Your best bet is trying to contact the person you bought him from. The comb seems to indicate a mix of a single comb and pea comb. As far as coloring, I've seen Hulseys with very similar pattern but he looks to have some kind of silver/grey pattern, too, but much paler than normal.

He is not very tall. His body is about the same size as my standard breeds, but his legs are definitely short. He could be a bantam. That was the reason he ended up at my house - he was too short to breed.
