I acquired him recently after a death in the family and have absolutely no idea what color he would be considered. Any ideas?

My best guess is khaki red silverxgold duckwing.
I believe he may be heterozygous for silver because of his white wing triangle.

But also, I'm kind of stumped. A silver bird shouldn't have as much red in the hackle as he does.

Maybe he’s heterozygous dominant white?
I thought about that too! I just would have thought in that case he would have solid dun and solid white feathers, not solid dun wing bays and partially dun feathers.
I do know some genes found in gamefowl can make the base of the feathers white.

Wait a minute, here me out:
A red wheaten with two copies of whatever modifer causes pumpkin and yellow birchen. Plus a lot of white in the tail base, as seen in many games.
Pumpkin (one copy of the modifier) showing much white in the same areas yours does.

Normally, "yellow birchen" has golden hackles but with mahogany it would be red, right?
"Yellow birchen" which is homozygous pumpkin (not Birchen)

But he also seems very dun in color rather than the orangey tails of of pumpkin.

I do think he has the same type of white though.
