Ehh....really? lol. The shotgun is a power weapon which I won't use unless in small maps, like zealot. The needle rifle is just as good as the DMR for me, I own with both. Weapons I don't like? Beam sniper, too many noobs with those, and the concussion rifle since people spam with those. I like human rifles better, but when used properly covenant weapons are just fine. I like the plasma repeater, but I always want to carry a pitol for final headshots. I'm surprised at how improved the plasma pistol is, although not a great weapon you can actually make a kill with it! Diversity is the key. Plasma weapons take shields down quicker. Human weapons do tons of damage once the shield is down. I like the assault rifle for the feel of it, it brings back memories from halo 1.

I think the plasma pistol is quite a strong weapon on its own, I always seem to win elite slayer by choosing the class zealot, then using the Plasma pistol + evade to kill enemies.\\
The assassinations are just so cool.. I also think that Bungie copied Infinity Ward's COD games with the classes and first strike thing... But maybe they had first strike in H3? If so I never got it.

The Needler is just way to overpowered IMO, whenever I join a game I see tonnes of noobs spamming the needles...

When you think about it: Covenant weapons > Human weapons, because as you said, Pet Duck Boy, covenant weapons get the shields down faster whilst human weapons do more damage to the health, but once the shields are down it's easy either way to get a kill...

Has anyone here played Earthbound?

I think it takes a little bit of skill to use the sniper, I, personally, suck with it. Now the rocket launcher, don't get me started on hwo nooby that weapon is...
My favourite covenant weapons would have to be the plasma repeater(same as you) and the gravity hammer... I know, I know, the gravity hammer requires little to no skill, but, it's just so fun to use...

The Fuel Rod cannon is definately not as good as the rocket launcher, but it certainly is quite powered... Sort of...

The radius is terrible.

The revanent moves alot more swiftly than the tank, but the tank has better firepower... MUCH better. Then again, it's a lot easier to board a tank...

The falcon replaces the hornet, I didn't use the hornet much in H3 so I don't really know how good it was, but I don't mind the falcon. I like banshees 'cause of their swift doding techniques.

I said Earthbound!! I just got the game, not on the actual SNES though(Darn!). It's a bit harder than I originally thought it would be, but I gotta say, it's one of my favourite games now, so engaging and unique! I also enjoy Harvets moon games.

Sweet! I saved up my money and bought the official cart. I must say though, Peaceful Rest Valley made me want to punch small animals.

I'm playing its sequel, Mother 3. %$%T$T%$ FASSAD!!!!!

I would probably go with the tank, simply because it demolishes everything short of a Wraith in one shot. If you have teammates, you're practically invincible. Saw one guy get like 3 killionaires in a Scorpion once. He just sat in place and demolished anything that moved while his teammates tried to get kills.

The Hornet isn't as "good" as the Banshee, but I like it better. Probably because you can hover in place and kill anything that moves.

Did 1v1 with a friend once. He kept trying to hit me with the rocket pod or the Spartan Laser. I'd just go all over the place and spray Gatling fire in the general direction of the continent he was standing on. Worked pretty well.

One fun thing to do in Forge World: I have had a Scorpion and a Falcon dropped onto my head.

The Scorpion didn't hurt at first because I used Armor Lock, but then - of all things to happen! - it freaking ROLLED, as in, TURNED OVER and laned upside-down on my non-Armor Locked head.

The friend I played with hates campers and spammers, but once we were on the Spartan side in Invasion. Only ones guarding the objective, but we had shotguns and Armor Lock. His orders? "CAMP FOR YOUR LIFE!!! Spam Armor Lock!"

We won that game.
