I present to you the shotgun, sniper, grenade launcher (Noob Cannon) and rocket launcher, all of which are instant kills when used properly.

I will admit, though, the Covenant has better weapons if you're looking for run-and-gun stuff. I like the Plasma Repeater and the energy sword, personally. I do not understand the purpose of the Fuel Rod Cannon, though. It's an underpowered rocket launcher with a puny blast radius.

Now, the question is, which is more completely overpowered? The Scorpion Tank or the Revenant?

And why did they remove the Hornet?!

The fuel rod cannon is the covenent's crappy version of a rocket launcher, like you said. It was pretty good in Halo 1, but has been dumbed down considerably. Plasma repeater is also a favorite for me, too. Scorpion tank vs revenant? Scorpion obviously, but the revenant can be good when used properly thanks to it's speed. They removed the hornet but added the falcon, which is virtually the same but it does not have rockets. One of the best parts of halo is forge mode, it was already good in halo 3 but it's even better in reach. Combined with firefight, and custom games, halo is pure awesome. It's like a cross between halo 1 and halo 3, but with new kind of game inbetween. I wonder what the next halo game is going to be about, if the new owners make one, and if they do they better not mess it up.

I think it takes a little bit of skill to use the sniper, I, personally, suck with it. Now the rocket launcher, don't get me started on hwo nooby that weapon is...
My favourite covenant weapons would have to be the plasma repeater(same as you) and the gravity hammer... I know, I know, the gravity hammer requires little to no skill, but, it's just so fun to use...
big_smile.png

The Fuel Rod cannon is definately not as good as the rocket launcher, but it certainly is quite powered... Sort of...

The radius is terrible.

The revanent moves alot more swiftly than the tank, but the tank has better firepower... MUCH better. Then again, it's a lot easier to board a tank...

The falcon replaces the hornet, I didn't use the hornet much in H3 so I don't really know how good it was, but I don't mind the falcon. I like banshees 'cause of their swift doding techniques.

I said Earthbound!! I just got the game, not on the actual SNES though(Darn!). It's a bit harder than I originally thought it would be, but I gotta say, it's one of my favourite games now, so engaging and unique! I also enjoy Harvets moon games.

I would probably go with the tank, simply because it demolishes everything short of a Wraith in one shot. If you have teammates, you're practically invincible. Saw one guy get like 3 killionaires in a Scorpion once. He just sat in place and demolished anything that moved while his teammates tried to get kills.
lol.png

The Hornet isn't as "good" as the Banshee, but I like it better. Probably because you can hover in place and kill anything that moves.

Did 1v1 with a friend once. He kept trying to hit me with the rocket pod or the Spartan Laser. I'd just go all over the place and spray Gatling fire in the general direction of the continent he was standing on. Worked pretty well.

One fun thing to do in Forge World: I have had a Scorpion and a Falcon dropped onto my head.
gig.gif
The Scorpion didn't hurt at first because I used Armor Lock, but then - of all things to happen! - it freaking ROLLED, as in, TURNED OVER and laned upside-down on my non-Armor Locked head.

The friend I played with hates campers and spammers, but once we were on the Spartan side in Invasion. Only ones guarding the objective, but we had shotguns and Armor Lock. His orders? "CAMP FOR YOUR LIFE!!! Spam Armor Lock!"

We won that game.

3 Killionaires?
ep.gif
The Scorpion will never cease to amaze me with its OP firepower.

Sure, the scorpion is great when you're on a team, but, when you're alone... I was playing free for all with my bro and his friend on hemorrhage, the scorpion was going extremely well unti... They got sick of me being there and decided to team up.

I would actually prefer the hornet over the banshee too, I believe its firepower is more practical and also stronger, the banshee has better evasion techniques though... Still, hornet.
And then we come to: Falcon > Hornet > Banshee
Agree?

I acutally laughed out loud with that! Oh armour lock...

It's a double win!

Halo 4 is in production, which is meant to conclude the Halo story, according to wikipedia. It'll be one EPIC game.

Scorpion Revenant

Evasion * ***
Mmmm... Obvious winners....

I played H1 one as well... That was fun as, I haven't played H2. I didn't use the fuel rod cannon in H1.

I'm not looking forward to it 'cause I don't know what it is.

It's a Wii-exclusive shooter. The first one got bad reviews, but the company (High Voltage) has taken the criticism to heart and has fixed pretty much everything. It's sorta like a conspiracy-oriented Halo that takes place all over Earth. Oh, and with much more creative weapons.

I actually enjoyed the first one, too. I'm a sucker for conspiracies.

Isn't the first Halo available for PC? I might look into getting it, since Conduit 2 is delayed.

Sounds quite interesting. I gotta add that Wii games aren't really my cup of tea... Most games I have played on Wii have awkward controls.

Can't believe I didn't mention the sniper, in a way it's even easier to use than halo 3's. With a steady hand it's easy for headshots, though body shots are just fine. And for my favorite map, bloodgulch. I loved it halo one, I loved it halo two, and I'm so glad it's back and even bigger.

GET IT NOW.

H1 was very very very fun, the first halo game that I played. It was my bro's friend's game so we don't have it anymore, but i'll always remember the immense fun we had playing that, a real classic.
