9/09 Game - "Wheel of Fortune"

The host will post who the next player is, the blank phrase, and the category. Each letter in the phrase will be represented by a line, with punctuation already revealed, and extra spaces between words. The host will spin the wheel to determine a dollar value and post the value. The current player then posts a letter to earn the value multiplied by the number of times that letter appears in the puzzle. The host will post the phrase revised to show letters that have been correctly guessed. A player with at least $250 may buy a vowel until all the vowels in the puzzle have been revealed. Calling a correct letter keeps the wheel in the player’s control. Control passes to the next player if the wheel lands on Lose a Turn or Bankrupt, or if the player calls a letter that is not in the puzzle, calls a letter that has already been called, fails to call a letter within 60 seconds, or gives an incorrect answer. Bankrupt does not affect score from previous rounds. A player must solve the puzzle in order to keep any points accumulated during that round. Bankrupt does not affect score from previous rounds. Each round will consist of three players and phrases. New players will be randomly chosen for each round.

Players please check in at 9 pm CST 09/09/2016 so we know who wants to play.

The host will randomly choose three players for each round. Host may ask for roll call between rounds to verify who is still in attendance and wanting to play

We’ll play for about 1 ½ hours. The player with the most points when we quit playing wins. Prize is 9 Ayam Cemani hatching eggs!



By playing, you agree to pay a $25 fee if you win. Only the winner has to pay. Fees are used to cover postage and packing materials. Playing is free.

Prize must be claimed by 8 am CST Saturday morning 09/10/2016 so that eggs can be mailed on 9/10/2016. "Claiming" a prize includes sending payment and shipping information.

You are welcome to play even if you don’t want to claim the prize. If you win, just let the host know you don’t want the prize, in which case no fee is required.

Sounds fun! I've never seen wheel of fortune though..... I'll go watch some episodes on YouTube....
