There are getting to be more and more games in the recent column.
I was wondering if there was a way to create a seperarte "recent area" for them and to remove them from the main recent topics.
I have participated in many of the games, they are a nice feature of the forum, however, I feel that they are begining to drown out the "chicken specific" content in the recent column; For that reason, there have been times when I did not respond in one of the games, so that I would not clutter the recent column myself.
It has not been unusual lately for me to see games taking
25 - 50% of the recent posts.
Is it possible to give them their own recent column and let the recent chicken posts be free of them?

Thanks

I've noticed that too. I don't go to any of the individual forums and just use the Recent Posts links to read everything and many of the posts are to the Games forum. I'm not sure they'd be able to seperate them out though.

Another thing I'd like to see is a "Show New Replies to Your
Posts" link at the top of the page. Other boards have this readily accessible. The only way to get to that here is to go to my Profile, choose Show All Posts and look at the threads marked as new.

I use the Recent Posts Link to catch up on threads also. It takes me about 1 second to scroll past the "Games Threads" if I'm not interested...

You can subscribe to a topic and be notified of replies, you can click on the "Your Posts" link and see threads you have posted in or use the "mark forum read" function. Then you can go into a forum, say predators and pests" and see what threads have new posts.

Barg, I can see how this may be frustrating, but keep in mind the reason the "recent posts" are there is for the most recent and even most popular thread to be readily available. Unfortunately there isn't a way to separate those posts out of the recent posts.

Thanks for the idea mac, I'll look into it. In the meantime I suggest either:

1) Bookmark that page that shows all threads you've posted in.
2) Use the "subscribe" feature and then go to the "Show your subscribed topics" at the bottom of the index page.
