My gander really likes one of my ducks and is indifferent/peaceful to the rest except one he doesn't like. The one he doesn't like he tried to submerge/repeatedly biting today. I got there in time but he has never tired anything like this before and I am worried. Mostly this duck stays out of his way but every now and then he nips her a few times before she gets away. I think it originally may have been jealousy (months ago) due to my having to give her extra care (health related) but now its something else. I can't really keep them separated during the day but at night the ducks and geese sleep separately.
Any suggestions on helping him stop this behavior? I am worried that it might escalate and her really get hurt or drown.
