Today is also my dead son's Birthday and the day we lost our first Dane as well. I just keep breaking into tears.

No matter what I do to try and not think about it I just keep breaking down. I have not been like this for a very long time...........

Im so sorry RURU! Ive lost chickens like that. Never had them tested for anything. Can geese get Lukemia? A few years ago My guinea pig, different animal i know, started doing the same thing and i had him to the vets they said he had lukemia.

RURU I am so sorry to hear that Sammie is not getting better. Such a hard decision to have to make. My heart hurts for you. I have only had my pair of geese for less than 2 months but they have a way of getting a hold of your heart for sure.

Thank you everyone! Sammie passed away yesterday evening. He did die on my son's B-Day.
This has just knocked me off my feet. Sammie worked a space into my heart from the time he was a day old!!! I loved him so terribly much. He is now with my son and Kira and has no more pain or suffering.

RIP my dear sweet Sammie. My blue eyed beauty!!!!

Thank you Alaskan Dragon only people who own geese can feel just how much it hurts when you lose a long time friend of a goose!! I have so many memories of Sammie and all of his antic's. But my 2 year old computer fried and the processor went. So lost all my pictures of my geese through out the years!!!!

This is the 2nd computer that has done this to me! All of my pictures are gone and lost.

I think I can but there are none of my Sammie!

On the pictures on my avatar one of the two here is Sammie daughter Sassafras. The other one is Samantha, Sammie's first female. The other is their daughter.
I have two web sites I can go get pictures back from. But none of my Sammie!
