Gander going lame

Thank you Miss Lydia. Sammie looked like the two girls in my avatar. He was the father of the one female in the avatar. He was not as full feathered as the girls but did produce beautiful goslings!!!!

I know he will be missed.

He was beautiful!
This bothers me so bad, i didnt even know him. It just brings back so much pain from all the animals i have lost, because i know what you are going through.

8 thank you he was my sweetheart. You would have loved him too he had such a great personality. He loved me and he showed it too. As he grew from a gosling into an adult I guess he thought I was his other mate and use to court me. Putting his head down and say ha ha! ha ha! then take two steps side way towards me. Kept this up until he got close and then tried to bred my leg.
He also would talk pretty to me and put his neck out and say ha ha ha ha. My husband would come over by me and Sammie would chase after him to get him away from me. These are some of the memories I have with Sammie. He even shared Samantha and his first hatch with me. Brought them over and walked with me with their goslings.

8 he was one of a kind and he produced that loving personality in his goslings too. Sammie and I would have conversations with each other with the ha ha bah bah talking. He would come over with his neck down just a talking to me and I would bend over and talk back to him.
He was a gentleman when it came to eating treats from me. He would wait for his turn and let the girls go first for grapes. Then I would give him a grape and he would ha ha for more.

I have lost other geese before and it really hurt but nothing like it has for me with Sammie!!!
GOD gave me a super special gander and just spoiled me with Sammie. None of my other ganders are even close to what Sammie was. I have raise the other ganders like I did Sammie by taking time with them holding them in my lap like I did Sammie. But none are even close to what he was like.

Like I said Sammie shot an arrow of Love into my heart and it will take awhile to get it under control again for me.

Another hard thing to see is Ginger, Sammie's mate has been looking around for him and acting lost. She does have two other geese Hanna and Nikki she is penned with but she still goes and looks for Sammie. I can't imagine how Ginger feels.
