Gander has white watery poop all the time, help!

I have been worried about my geese as well. My gander is having similar issues. I treated them both with Eprinex(topical Ivermectin). No change. My gander has lost weight and his feces looks similar at times. I will be treating with a 5 day regimen of Corid soon. What I can say is that he is so high strung right now during mating season that he can't keep his head down long enough to even get a mouthful of grass. He tries to nibble all day, but he's more worried about his girl amd anything that goes past the fence line. I have decided that providing a fecal for a vet might be the easiest and cheapest way for an answer without transporting and stressing the birds....I still think mine just isn't able to eat enough because of his instincts.

Charlie saw the vet today and he said he saw something called "Eberia" or something like that Im sure I cant spell it right, but he gave me pink liquid medicine to give Charlie twice a day for a week (May God help me give it to him) the med is called SMZSUSIN , and they are also sending the fecal sample to a lab to check it more thoroughly, in case there is also Coccid or anything else , but the vet said this medicine will work for that too... The amazing thing is, that Charlie's poop was looking a lot better already after 2 days of drinking thyme-oregano 'tea' . anyway now I need to learn how to give medicine to a goose... it wasn't easy with ducks when we had to do it a couple years ago. I imagine geese are more difficult! Anyone here ever gave liquid meds to a goose, directly into mouth? > It would be so much easier if I could add it to the water but the vet said no. I figure I wrap him in a towel, and one person hold his body and his neck, so I have one hand to hold his mouth open and the other to hold the syringe and squirt it in.

I'm glad you got a diagnosis and medication. Makes me worry a bit more about my bird(s). I've heard it's "easy" to put the medicine down the trachea instead of the esophagus. I read something about needing to put it towards the side of the throat. I don't know much and would research a little more if you're unaware of this biologic structural issue of the the goose.

Is there any way you can hide his meds in his favorite treat? I've given my geese both pills and liquid meds in/on bread. Broke pills in quarters, made a tiny slit in a small piece of bread, inserted pill piece, fed to goose. Or dropped liquid painkiller on pieces of bread, let it sink in, fed to goose. Saved both me and them from a lot of stress. I imagine you could administer meds via grapes, too.

I could try. They have never eaten bread though. They don't like grapes either. I've tried giving them many kinds of vegetables and fruits but the only ones they like are lettuces, cabbage, apples, kale, green beans. I know bread is bad for them but twice I offered them a little bit anyway, and they didn't eat it.

We gave Charlie his first dose of pink liquid medicine this morning, and it went better than I had expected. I wrapped him in a towel and had my husband hold him while I held his head with one hand and administered the medicine a little bit at a time, with my other hand. I followed the advice from this post by Free Spirit https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...oose-what-could-it-mean.1064269/post-16207017

What do her droppings look like? Black, white, red, pink, salmon orange, yellow, or bright green? Are they bubbly and runny?

Is she eating and drinking normally? Has she lost weight? How long has she had diarrhea?

What antibiotics was your gander on? Was a fecal test performed?

My gander is doing well - nothing came up when tested - i treated him for Giardia because my dog had it - but even the test for that came back negative
