We have only twee geese. The goose is sitting on her eggs and now the gander seems depressed. He is not eating enough and sits with is head under his wing a lot? On the other had he is very vicious if against me so I cannot really go and have a look. For that we are giving he CBD oil on the vet's advice, can that be the problem

So you have two geese and the goose is sitting on eggs? The gander is just bored. When I only had a pair of geese, Georgia the goose, would go broody and then Golly would just find a place somewhere he could survey most of his domain and graze, nap, and stand guard most of the day. The day the goslings started hatching he moved to the doorway of the shelter and stood there all day/night. The next morning there were little fuzzballs and he was attentively watching over them with Georgia. They started taking them on wee excursions and then brooding them. Every night they'd tuck them back into bed and the two of them would park in the entryway to block goslings from the outside world and keep things from getting to the babies.
