Gander with swollen foot

Ok my gander is staying at the clinic overnight for a test in the morning and my told me that the gander had a weird disease called streptococcosis ?!?! Well thats what she texted me and i never heard of this do ye know anything about this disease she said that he had the disease for a long time and is dangerous but she says he is going to stay alive so thats the main thing

Just now heard of it, and looked it up.. http://en.wikivet.net/Streptococcus_&_Enterococcus_Infections_-_Poultry probably why he is looking run down.

I hope she can treat hi m and he gets back to good health again.
 
Thanks for the link coz im in no mode to look it up now and it said the disease is rare which i dont like awel atleast he is being treated
 
Miss Lydia made sure to find you a website telling you about this disease. Good luck and hope it can be cured from your gander. I guess your sister is doing blood work which will help a lot to confirm one way or the other. Good thing you took the gander to your sister to evaluate what is going on with him.

We will be waiting to hear how everything goes.
 
It's like us getting strep throat can be serious if not treated with antibiotics. Hopefully he will make a full recovery.

Serv, I'm sorry your gander is sick, but glad you got him to a vet for proper diagnosis and treatment. He is such a beautiful gander. I hope he makes a speedy and full recovery!

And my gander is staying over night again he will recover tomorrow at 2:00
ill keep ye updated all i know now is my sister does have antibiotics for him
