Gangrene or a bruise?

Chickens do bruise.
One of my roosters got his butt kicked, awhile back. He was limping. The flesh of his entire leg turned pale jade green for several days. I was afraid he was a goner. It cleared up & he was fine.

AWESOME! "Pale Jade Green" sounds like the same color on Bandit. I posed pics of the girls under my other message:

You can kinda see the green on Bandit hip area, but it didn't come out well in the picture.

Our hen also had bruising from a rooster attack and it was green, not blue. Fadded and now she's fine and growing her feathers back (attack accurred during molt).
