Gapeworm???/ Help please!

Unfortunately she passed this morning :( we are taking her to a lab to see what she had just in case others become infected at least ill know what im dealing with thanks for all your info at least i know i tried! Breaks my heart though
 
Oh no how awful!:( well from reading your posts you deffinately gave it your best! I'm so sorry you lost her! And I hope the tests come back as non contagious to the rest of your fowl!

We got bad news yesterday.....she had MG and the other has it too which means all in the pin are now carriers and it's not cureable......the dept of ag has to come out and test all other birds and put us under quarantine for 45 days. We have to choose to cull all flock :( or keep them as a closed flock bring no new birds in and no selling chickens or their eggs for hatching. My heart is broken some of my chicken we have had for about 5 years! They all have names and are all very much loved. I'm torn!
 
I am so sorry to hear of your bad news concerning flock. I would likewise be devastated. Pardon my ignorance, but what is MG?
