Gaping chick - is this normal?

I never saw one do that before. Pretty young to have gapeworm.

Add to that how rare gapeworm is AND that the little goob has had no exposure....

S(he) is doing fine. Crop went down overnight and started eating and drinking as soon as I turned the lights on. No guineas buddies yet, but two look very promising.

I brought Robin out for a bit and s(he) attacked the food. Thing 1 was standing by and kept telling Robin to “Drink your cup of water”. I think Robin just ate too quickly yesterday and got something stuck. No more gaping like yesterday.
