Gaping in new chickens added to flock

Has anyone witnessed new chickens gaping when first added to your flock?

I noticed two of my existing chickens gaping (just here and there upon introduction) and now the others are gaping (and panting a bit).

Any ideas?

Chickens gape when overheated or are experiencing stress. It's quite normal.
