I have my chickens at a rented pen that I will have to move in December, so I am planning ahead. I have a detach garage. I can easily square off a small coop for my 3 gals. My question is I need suggestions on how to cool it as I am in S Texas. I also must have stealth as the HOA would be sending the letter even though my neighbors are ok.

I did kind of the same thing. I built a 4x8 inside my garage. In high mountain Salt Lake, I think the shade and a fan should do.

But in the winter, I'm wondering about ventalation inside the 2 car garage... (PatandChickens...?)

I'll be watching your post.

cooling a serperate garage is tricky. I have ventelation windows and I have a fan blowing on them. keep lots of water for them. you can put icecubes in the water when it is peak heat. But the fan is the best thing. Evaporating water cools them down.
