I have 3 hens that have garbled breathing. It started after we had a 103° day (free ranged) and an 89° night in their coop. Their coop is very clean. By the next morning, the temp went down to 52° and cold rain. I have been treating (4 full days so far) the whole flock with 1 tsp Tylan per gallon of water. Not any better. Any suggestions appreciated.

In the winter I had chickens that had terribly garbled breathing. They even had bubbles coming out of their eyes! A friend suggested giving them medicated chick start feed with their regular feed. It worked for us. We also mix 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in every gallon of their water. Within a week all the girls were better.

I will definitely try that and start today. I have the medicated feed on hand. Thank you.
