Garden failed this year?

That is one of the beautiful things about having a garden. When you get too much, or stuff that's just yucky or has bugs in it, you give it to the chickens & it helps offset feed costs, plus makes them very happy little egg-producers!

Everything is in full swing here again thanks to the great weather. Beans, squah, zuchini and maters are all doing very well and we expect to salvage the season. I planted 200 pounds of Barely during the hurricane (we got much needed rain) and teh seed is already set and breaking the husk. Turnips, kale and such should be up this week as well.

Working hard at prepping the other gardens for fall and winter and making plans for next year already.
