Garden shed to coop: advice?

How do I open and close the windows after I put hardware cloth over them?
Decide how you want to operate the windows and put the HC on the other side.
You might need to remove screen.
What kind of screws did you buy?

Hey everyone, I'm here to update with progress.

I now own a mitre saw, a kreg jig, a stronger drill because the one I had didn't have enough oomph, a ton of wood, vinyl flooring, the "small" size pullet-shut chicken door with photo sensor, 2 lay boxes from Amazon and some accomplishments.

After some deliberation, I've decided that fussing with the roll up door was going to be a HUGE problem. I decided to cage in half the space instead. It will be 4'x9' and have it's own man door on the inside. I have begun work and will attach images.

The breaker box is covered with a hinged panel with a latch so it can be accessed if necessary. Osb walls were installed and they have 2 coats primer on. I got a sheet of vinyl flooring that I plan to pin down using the frame for the interior cage. I'm headed out for wire and screen doors for the run and inner cage right now. I'll update with further progress as it's made.

Additionally, I have an image of the inside of the soffits.

Day's end. I am out of primer, the OSB really sucks it up and I have more priming I want to do before the semi gloss goes on. Frame in. A bit more up top to wall, then the braces go in for the lay boxes. I am mounting OSB on the left side of the frame and making an outside access door so I don't have to walk into the cage to get eggs from the lay boxes. It's been a long day and tomorrow is a new one...

For fun, here is a short video demonstrating how I've trained my ameraucana to climb into my hand when I put it down.

I am planning the roosting bars and where they go. There's information for how far off the ground they need to be, how much space between each bird, how wide to make the bars, how far apart from the next rung down they need to be, how far they need to be from the wall, BUT not how far from the window. Do I put the roosts a certain level below the windows?

Should I have the windows shut in the wintertime? It gets REALLY cold here. Like, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY cold. I can't imagine having the windows open when it's -35f is very good?

I keep windows closed in winter, ventilation is all in the eaves...my roosts are near windows but it doesn't matter if they are closed and not leaking drafts.

I see you made part of not-spa-side the coop, is there a door for you to enter that side.
Sorry, trying to see the big picture.
Will you put a mesh 'ceiling' in coop?
Will you open eaves up for ventilation?

Here's some new pictures. I will be putting wire across the top. To the right is where the lay boxes will go. I made some small hinged doors with latches at the back of the lay boxes so that I don't have to go inside the caged area to get to the eggs.

When you say open the eaves, what do I need to do? they are perforated and let light and air through. Are you suggesting I take the perforated panels completely off?
