Yay! The ortho dr says i just have deep bone bruising. So no permanent damage from the fall! It has been hurting for a month now so i figured i should get it checked.
Good to hear it's nothing serious. It can take months for stuff like that to heal.

You don't want to find out you have something like rheumatoid arthritis, which is an autoimmune disease, which requires treatment to keep it from advancing too far. Odds are it's just regular old arthritis, but I would get checked, just to know for sure.

@CarolinaSunshineFlock ~ I agree with oldhens. Get it checked. If it is something more serious like RA, you need to start treatment asap. Once damage occurs, it can not be fixed.

Anyone thinking they may have RA, Lupus or any of the other arthritic diseases, if you don't have life insurance or think you need more, get it before getting diagnosed. Once you are diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, you are not able to get life insurance, at least any you can afford.

Are you talking about your knees? Glad it's nothing too serious, though I'm sure it still hurts a lot.
Yep, i was carrying the cat when i stepped over the dog. My foot stuck inside the bottom of my pjs. Down i went, slamming both knees! After a month of pain i decided it wasn't getting better by itself.

I can't get life insurance either. Good thing no one's relying on me for their survival. I have Juvenile diabetes, no one will touch me with a 10 foot pole. :hmm

While i was in Lynchburg i saw a farm and garden seed place. Screech! Apply brakes! They had more types of daffodils than i have ever seen! And i got a coal shovel for dh to go with the bucket. And some seeds, bulb fertilizer and a magazine. Really enjoyed looking around!

Wow, unbelievable! And can life insurance cancel on you should they find out you're at death's door?

We don't have life insurance. My husband has had vertigo for years and doesn't drive, and a thyroid condition. I suppose he would be denied or the policy would be really expensive?

I never considered rheumatized arthritis. I can't even spell it correctly. I'll copy and paste and do some reading. I've heard of RA before, but I had no idea it's an auto-immune disease. Thank you for the head's up. Good to know!

Sounds painful.

You should get PJs with feet protectors built in. Or maybe a Snuggie? Don't those Snuggie things have feets?
