Zone 5 update... 
I feel like a weather reporter on TV.

We finally got some decent spring weather and I'm LUVIN it.
here is a pix of some daffodils. These are different than those I posted a few days ago. They are lighter in color, . They have been growing in that bed for over 20 years. I don't do anything to them at all. they grow in-between a growth of Rose Of Sharon bushes/trees.
Here is what I had to do with my plum tree..
The Black Knot Fungus gangrene was beyond limit for this one. There is a new sapling that will be growing in its place. 
The trunk is coming down also, just did not have the right saw at the time. This is caveman's solution to controlling the fungus.
Just wondering how are all of you north of 42 degree north latitude. Did most of the snow melt?
