It appears most of the US has a longer growing season.
Curious. I wonder why, for instance, would the season in Georgia go down 10 to 20 days yet the season in South Carolina went up by 2 to 10 days? There are other bordering states with a large difference in the change.

before I go in to get my left shoulder replacement reversed
?? How do you reverse a shoulder replacement?

They take the ball off the implanted joint and screw it into the socket. The end of the arm bone gets a plastic cap. They claim it's easier since I already have the stem in the arm bone, and they just need to do some alterations. :hmm

Not unreasonable, especially since this one is a rework of a prior replacement. I would think you expected that one to last a lot longer.
The joint itself isn't worn out. It would probably last my lifetime. It's because I have no rotator cuff in the left arm, and I cannot raise my arm much. I tore it I'm my 20's and never had it looked at.

I didn't need to do this, but I would like some more use out of my arm and am hoping this will do it.

I got this shoulder replaced 14 years ago. I am only 52 this year, so I hope to be around a bit longer, so they recommended trying this to try to get better use, and less pain when I do try to use it.

Since I recently strained my right arm I realize him one injury away from being completely useless. :(

Not here. :hmm We are back to a foot of hard crusty snow. Gonna be a while until I can garden here.
so sorry, since we're back in pa now, i have alot of my things started in the greenhouse, at least the ones i start , we planted three 16' rows of peas, english and snap. also planted one long row of spinach, soon as it dries a little bit going to plant turnips
not trying to sound like i'm bragging(not) just saying that i'm happy to be playing in the dirt for real and hoping the same for you:hugs

I was hoping to get something done here before I go in to get my left shoulder replacement reversed on the 24th of April. I guess I will be trying to garden with one arm for 6 weeks. Husband will be put to work too.

Can't even fire up my pond. :he
hope everything goes like it should and you heal quickly:fl

I hope it will all be worth it too. :fl I currently have troubles raising that arm because I no longer have a functioning rotator cuff. Bad thing is I recently hurt my right arm moving rabbits. So they both hurt. :hmm
can't give you a like on that one but my prayers go with you, rotator cuff's can hurt like a son of a gun and take forever to heal
