I've read that garlic acts as a natural antibiotic and that it's good for your chickens to eat fresh garlic-Especially chicks or any that may be going through stressed situations. I also know that garlic and taint the egg flavor.
Do any of you feed your chickens garlic for this reason and what kind of rations are we talking about here? Does it take a lot to taint the flavor? If I occasionally tossed some out would that be ok? I want the best for my hens.
