Quote: Actually it is more potent than even the most potent man-made antibiotics in a few areas. It's been used for a very long time with success, and recently even in hospitals, to save lives that the strongest man-made antibiotics were failing to save.
Garlic ('Russian penicillin') has been used for many centuries, and still is used, in many other countries as the standard antibiotic that is relied on for many things; it has recently been used and proven to be more effective than some of the strongest man-made antibiotics for such things as food poisoning bacteria that don't react to artificial antibiotics.
The main reason is that one of the main antibiotic compounds of the 30-odd that garlic contains (Allicin) is formed from the enzyme interaction of garlic when freshly crushed or cut. As such it is dynamic, and unique each time, so unlike unchanging man-made antibiotics, many harmful bacteria, viruses, microorganisms, etc cannot become immune to garlic. It's also high in natural sulfur which is toxic to many of these, as well as to parasites, and it also aids healing quickly.
The research in support of garlic was never actually disproven, just subjected to unfounded, misinformed or biased slandering, which is a powerful weapon in social media. It's more and more often in the mainstream media news lately, though. .
This is not to state there is no use for man made antibiotics, or that garlic can conquer all. But it's one of those things we'll be hearing a lot more about in future. I was initially skeptical about herbs and garlic, etc but my various experiments in natural treatment have convinced me of its efficacy. Some strains of garlic are worth nothing, too, it's important to remember that just like an animal breed it can have its qualities bred out of it, or suffer from unhealthy rearing. Certainly no two strains of garlic are bred equal. Definitely worth trialling. But to some this sounds like outright fallacies, so each to their own and best wishes to all.
