Anyone have a clue why gas is rising. I mean we are not out of hot water yet. There are still thousands out of jobs and others short on hours. How is raising gas helping us? It is what caused all this to start going so bad in the first place. Grr I just want to slap some politions in the head.

That, and it is summer, so people are vacationing and my guess is that there are less people flying and more people travelling by vehicle and so it's either pay the price of gas or stay home. I'm guessing more people are paying the price than staying home.

Me, I'm staying home.

Very good question... one we will never know the true answer to.

I also think it is just "Becasue they Can" like the other's have said.

And the first thing Al Franken did when he got into the senate was to rake Boone Pickens over the coals. So it looks like the Pickens Plan is dead. Some people are so consumed with their own hatred and bitterness that they could not careless about the welfare of our nation.

The Pickens Plan was our road map out of this mess. Seems like everything changes, but it all stays the same.

I was priced off the road years ago; take the bus like I do.

gas prices fluctuate on time of day here.

morning - skyhigh
mid afternoon - drops a couple of cents per litre
late evening (9ish or so) - drops another couple of cents per litre
morning - skyhigh - same as day before or a little higher.

Often it rises for the weekend and drops a little just after.

It is disturbingly predictable. If the price is lower in the morning than it was the morning before, the price is going to rise by 2 or 3 cents the following morning.

Oh, and where I live - all the gas stations are the same price within minutes of each other.
