Can anyone tell me what kind of gashes these are? I’m not sure if something got ahold of her or the rooster did it to her.

Have you checked the other hens? My rooster had to go because he was really damaging my hens.That is on her upper side under her wing but only one side looks like that.

In the meantime, I would separate her , clean the wound and apply an antibiotic cream that doesn’t contain painkiller.
That’s good, bc it’s not just the roosters that will hurt her but the other chickens could peck at the wound and make it worse.I’ve already got her separated cause I didn’t want him hurting her anymore. I’ve got some original neosporin ointment on her right now.
