Hi all -
I have a new Aracauna chick we just brought home from the feed store yesterday. She was pecking at some bird seed in the box we transported her home and I think she aspirated some of the bird seed. She was fine going into the box and gasping when she came out. All of the other chicks are fine and that's the only thing I can think of that might have happened.
She's getting weaker, not eating or drinking. Is there anything we can do for her? She constantly gasping, sometimes I can hear a little whistle. She will peep, but very little activity.
