Gasping peachick (2 weeks old)

UPDATE on gasping peachick: We're at 4 weeks of age, it weighs 117 grams. That's scrawny. For comparison, its sibling weighs 252 grams.

It still gasps, in fact it wheezes at times like something is choking it. I did a 5% Albon solution for 3 days on, gave a .10mg injection down the throat for every 100 gms of weight.

Still no change in gasping wheezing behavior.

Stools look as healthy as can be. A 3rd peachick is gasping also. It's larger, I think 187gms. Again everyone is between 4 weeks and 3 weeks 5days old.

Im at the 10th day since my last worm treatment. Fed a .2mg dose of SafeGuard down the gullet careful to miss the windpipe. Chicks are healthy enough to put up a decent fight when I try to open their beak. I just do not get this!!!

Poo is solid, appetite is good, but you'd think something is strangling them. Can worms get in lungs? Can worms get in heart??? Like a dog???

I feared dosing with my Valbazen, worried that it may be too strong. I think I read a dosge for .2CCs for every 2.2 lbs. If I convert this to grams for my chicks the Valbazen would be 2 molecules at a time. Is Valbazen that strong?

I'm at wits end. I've administered Tylan, once a day, no results, I've administered Corid, no result, I've administered Albon, no result. I can't see down the chicks windpipe to see any obstruction.

Here's my plan. Gasping chick is scrawny as heck! But showing all other signs of being healthy--decent non runny poo--active, running around, flighty from me, good appetite. I will raise it until weaned from its chicken mommy then take to the vet, for an overnite stay if needed. I hate to say it, but I'd come near paying a grand to a vet now just to know what the freak I'm dealing with!!!!

I think you would be fine with .20 ml for a young chick. I would mix it in some hard boiled egg or crumbles.
